The
Lively Arts History
Association presents the Gentleman's
Page: a resource for those who wish to look and act like;
or perhaps better understand, the 19th Century American man. It
is intended to help costumers, theatrical performers, museum
docents, reenactors and anyone with an interest in the life of
19th Century America. This
site was written to teach history through the visual arts, which
means this site is captivating.
The reading level is fairly high.
Many pictures and stories.
Not interactive.

Summary:
|
This
Online Course offers complete instruction on any/all
arithmetic topics. You will be shown every concept in
detail, have continuous opportunities to test your
understanding, and participate in activities that identify
topics that should be studied.
Topics
include whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents and
ratio and proportion.
Using
the Table of Contents you can quickly locate any topic
that needs to be studied/learned, move to that location,
and receive the help wanted. If the titles of the topics
are insufficient to identify your area of need, the sample
tests will help you locate any particular problem you want
to attack.
|
|
Where/How
could this resource be used?
|
|
The
pretest helps the student locate the area to study and a
post test can be used after the lessons and practice.
This could be used as a stand-alone site.
